Lions Fall in Third to SJSU

The Lions had the lead heading into the third period, but couldn’t hold on against SJSU. The Lions, who were controlling the game midway through the third, took a major penalty, and SJSU scored one on it to get the wheels rolling. SJSU would score 6 goals in the third, two on the empty net, and took the game 8-5. The Lions were led by goals from Medeiros, Cintas and Boente.
