The LMU Hockey team came away big winners at the LMU Club Sports banquet today, winning two of the big awards. Firstly, team advisor, Al Tipon, won Club Advisor of the year. This was his record 5th win of the award, and it is 100% deserved for all Al does behind the scenes. The team also won the big award of the night, Best Club Sport. The team was awarded this for always promptly following any issues off the ice, but mainly for its recent success on the ice, including making regionals for the 2nd straight year, and finishing as the top team in California this season. Congrats to the LMU Hockey team and it’s members!
