Lions Cruise to 3rd Place Kings Cup Win!

The Lions took an opportunity to start the 2nd semester off with a bang, and a mostly full bench. The Lions played Fullerton in the third place game of the Kings Cup Tournament, hosted by the LA Kings at Staples Center. The Lions had a bit of a slow start, trailing 1-0 midway through the first. Late in the first, Marc Brockwell would tie the game, and the Lions would score 3 more unanswered goals to win 4-1. Boente, Thomas and Cintas had the other goals for the Lions. LMU travels to Texas this weekend to face off against three tough Texas teams.
