The Lions played a strong game, but the short bench ended up ending LMU’s quest to make it back to the Kings Cup finals this year, with a 6-3 loss to UCLA. The Lions held a 3-2 lead early in the second period, but UCLA would take a 4-3 lead by the end of the 2nd, and finish with an empty net goal to make it 6-3 final. The Lions are now off until January where they’ll play a final month of the season out. In the 2nd semester the Lions will travel to Texas, and play 4 local games, including hosting USC and UCLA on Senior Night.
