Lions Take Tahoe for Training Camp

The Lions instituted a new preseason camp this year, as a majority of the team took 4 days from summer to travel to South Lake Tahoe for a training camp.  The team skated multiple times a day, went on hikes and bonded over a camp fire.  Besides shaking off the cobwebs of the off season, the team was able to meet most of the newest players and the new coach.  The goal of the camp was for the team to get acquainted well before the season started so the team would be off on a stronger foot than in past years.  With the first game only a few weeks after official practices start, the Lions hope to get off to a perfect start of the year.  The players are now enjoying their final weeks of summer, and will have the first official team practice on August 26th.
