The Lions have one of their best recruit classes entering next Fall, for the 2017-2018 season. Here is a little info on who you’ll see wearing an LMU Sweater next year on the ice.
#6 – Max Jarrell – Comes from Los Altos, CA. Leading scorer for the NorCal Storm, and HS team in the San Jose Sharks league.
#9 – Justin Hertz – Comes from Danville, CA. Leading scorer for his Midget AA, Oakland Bears team which made it to States.
#13 – Jake Herzog – From Scottsdale, AZ. This 6’2 power forward played for Mission Arizona this past season.
#20 – Austin Boyle – From Parker, CO. This 6′ defenseman played for Regis Jesuit HS.
#21 – Michael Adelson – From Franklin Lakes, NJ. This 6’2 forward spend the past 3 years playing Jrs in the Eastern Hockey League.
#22 – Jacob Benson – From Orange Country, CA. This 6’3 defenseman played in the ADHSHL and shoots hard from the blue line.
#23 – Ewan Trogni – From Greenwich, CT. This 6’1 defenseman played for Greenwich HS varsity team.
#34 – Michael Zanini – From Boston, MA. This 6′ goalie spent the past years playing Prep Hockey at Catholic Memorial and Northfield Mount Hermon schools.
#48 – Jett Shibata – From Trabuco Canyon, CA. This 6′ tall, smooth skating defenseman comes from the LA Jr Kings AAA team.
#54 – Gregory Bennett – From Hermosa Beach, CA. This 6′ tall D-Man played in the ADHSHL for the National’s Bound Santa Margarita HS as the Captain.
#68 – Owen Craver – From San Jose, CA. Owen is a Senior transfer to LMU, and spent his youth hockey playing for the SJ Jr Sharks and Bellarmine Prep School
#72 – Eric Johnson – From Irvine, CA. This 6’1 Forward played in the ADHSHL for the National’s Bound Santa Margarita HS as the Assistant Captain.
#88 – Thomas Bennett – From Middletown, MA. This 6’2, hard hitting, D-Man was the captain of his Masconomet HS team.
#89 – Jake Sweeney – From San Jose, CA. This 5’10 defenseman played for the Bellarmine Varsity team in the ADHSHL.
