It didn’t take long, as Sophomore Kory Medeiros stole the puck and scored on a breakaway just 1 minute into the Friday night game. The score would remain 1-0 after a dominate first period by the Lions. In the second, LMU broke it up with Medeiros notching two more goals, including a short hander. Senior Matt Dolegowski also netted his first of the season on a deflection in front. The Lions would struggle slightly in the third as LBSU came out very physically, but Medeiros would bury his 4th of the night from the top of the circle on a 2 on 1. Jake Blazier made some crucial saves in the 2nd and 3rd and grabs his first shutout at LMU.
