Welcome to Loyola Marymount University, a Jesuit liberal arts college located in Los Angeles, California. Minutes from the beach, high on the cliffs overlooking Los Angeles stands Loyola Marymount University’s main campus, where 5,000 students study, live, work and play. With the Pacific Ocean to the west and the city skyline to the east, the LMU campus has unique views of the culture, traditions, and business taking place every day in Southern California. 

LMU enjoys one of the nation’s most beautiful campuses (Ranked #7 in the Nation in 2016), combining a hilltop park environment with traditional and contemporary architecture. Sacred Heart Chapel creates a focal point on the Upper Campus with a commanding presence over Sunken Gardens and the Alumni Mall. Modern residence buildings and University Hall on the lower Leavey Campus push the campus toward the horizon. The Co-Educational environment brings a friendly, fun environment to live, study and work in for four beautiful years in Los Angeles. Females outnumber males about 65%-35%. The LMU Lion’s Hockey team plays 25-30 games a year, against teams all over the West Coast. Some major rivals of LMU are USC, UCLA, ASU to name a few. The Lions participate in the WCHC, a west coast hockey league, as well as being a member of the ACHA DII. The Lions built a locker room in 2010 as a springboard for their program, that provides each player their own stall, team showers and video room capabilities.
