Founding Advisor of the club, Al has been prolific in helping the LMU Ice hockey team grow since its inception in 2006.
Al was Vice President of the LA Jr Kings (2000-2008) and both his children are former players of the Jr Kings program. Al (’81), his wife Adele (’85), daughter Kulei (’09), and son Kalei (’12), are all LMU alumni. His son Kalei was also a 4-year player for LMU Ice Hockey. Al worked at LMU in Facilities Management from 1980-2016 and is also the advisor to Na Kolea, LMU Hawai`i Club.
Al was elected into the LMU Hockey Hall of Fame’s Inaugural Class in 2016 as a “Founder”.
